There are reports that an Air India flight was delayed for more than five hours due to straw stuck in the wings.
“Flight AI2354 from Mumbai to Bangkok, scheduled to operate on June 25, 2025, was suspended due to straw stuck under the left wing of the operating aircraft,” Air India said in a statement on Friday.
The statement states that the service provider handling the aircraft at Mumbai Airport has been instructed to investigate the matter and that it has been duly reported to the security regulator.
