Two unidentified persons who arrived on a motorcycle at a house on the Kalubowila Temple Road in Kohuwala early this morning (15) opened fire and fled.
It is reported that the suspects fired shots at the gate of the house and towards the house.
Police say there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the shooting.
It is suspected that the shooting was carried out over a financial dispute.
The Mount Lavinia Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau and Kohuwala Police are conducting further investigations.
