A discussion was held at the Ministry of Education yesterday (23) to present the UNICEF project plan to rebuild the country’s education system, which was crippled due to Cyclone Ditva.
This was between the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, and a group of representatives from UNICEF.
At that time, UNICEF presented to the Prime Minister a UNICEF plan prepared under the theme of “Equity and Quality” to rebuild education in Sri Lanka after the disaster.
