Foreign media reports state that family members of four passengers who died in the Air India plane crash, which claimed the lives of over 260 people, have filed lawsuits against Boeing.
In addition to Boeing, the lawsuits have also been filed against Honeywell, a company that manufactures aircraft components.
The tragedy occurred in June, when an Air India passenger aircraft, en route from Ahmedabad International Airport in India to London Gatwick, crashed shortly after takeoff.
All passengers and crew on board, except for one survivor, perished in the accident, along with several people on the ground at the crash site, bringing the death toll to more than 260.
