Police reported that two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle opened fire at a house in the Kuttiduwa area of Negombo at around 1:38 a.m. today (6) before fleeing the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting may have stemmed from a financial dispute.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
