Parliamentarian Aravinda Senarath, who served as the Chairman of the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA), has resigned.
The MP made this statement in a special statement in Parliament today (06).
Parliamentarian Aravinda Senarath stated that he took this decision to facilitate the government’s agreement to give the position of chairman of the COPA Committee to the opposition.
