National Safety Day tomorrow in front of the Paraliya Tsunami Memorial

This year's "National Safety Day" main celebration is scheduled to be held tomorrow (26) from 8.30 am to 11.00 am in front of the "Peraliya Tsunami Memorial" in Galle.

A two-minute silence will be observed islandwide tomorrow from 9.25 am to 9.27 am to commemorate the "National Safety Day" in memory of the people who died in the tsunami and other disasters.

The 2004 tsunami disaster killed over 35,000 people in this country, left over 5,000 people missing, and destroyed property worth billions.
