Parliamentarian Ramanathan Archuna granted bail

The Colombo Magistrate's Court has ordered the release of Jaffna District Parliamentarian Ramanathan Archuna on anticipatory bail.

When a case filed regarding an incident of obstructing the duties of Fort Police officers was summoned before the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court recently, the suspect Archuna MP did not appear in court.

Accordingly, the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court had issued a warrant for his arrest and production, and accordingly, after surrendering to the police, MP Archuna was produced before the court.

Accordingly, Colombo Additional Magistrate Lahiru Silva ordered that MP Archuna, who was produced before the court, be released on anticipatory bail.
