Police have discovered over 10 kilograms of suspected crystal methamphetamine (“Ice”) inside a house in the Seenimodara area of Tangalle.
Earlier this morning (22), two bodies were found inside the same house under suspicious circumstances, while another individual admitted to hospital later passed away.
During initial investigations at the premises, police recovered 10 packets containing suspected crystal meth.
Meanwhile, in a separate operation in the Tangalle area, police also uncovered approximately 200 kilograms of narcotics, including crystal meth and heroin, concealed in a lorry.
Authorities confirmed that the large stock of drugs was seized during a police search and that investigations are currently ongoing.
