The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has ordered that Shadhika Lakshani, the wife of Bako Saman, who is currently in remand custody under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, be further remanded until the 25th of this month.
The Magistrate also ordered the Director of the Police Narcotics Bureau to appear before court on that date.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanka S. Bodaragama issued this order after considering the submissions made by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the defense counsel representing the suspect.
