Sampath Manampeiri, who was wanted for arrest, surrendered before the Walasmulla Magistrate’s Court today (17), according to reports.
He is sought in connection with the discovery of two concealed containers of chemical substances in the Mideniya area, allegedly intended for the production of crystal methamphetamine (“ice”).
On September 15, Manampeiri’s attorney informed the Court of Appeal that his client was prepared to surrender to the relevant court in relation to the case.
