The Walasmulla Magistrate’s Court today (17) granted permission to police to detain and further question two alleged underworld figures, “Beko Saman” and “Thambili Lahiru,” until December 2, in connection with the murder of Anura Widanagama, also known as “Kajja.”
The two suspects, identified as members of a major organized crime syndicate, were recently arrested in Indonesia and brought back to Sri Lanka. They were produced before the Walasmulla Magistrate’s Court earlier today.
