Israel Accused of Committing Genocide Against Palestinians in Gaza

Published:

The United Nations Commission of Inquiry has stated that Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

According to a new report, there are reasonable grounds to conclude that Israel has carried out four of the five acts defined as genocide under international law since the war with Hamas began in 2023.

These acts include killing members of the group, inflicting serious physical and mental harm, deliberately creating conditions of life intended to destroy the group, and preventing births.

The report cites statements made by Israeli leaders and patterns of conduct by Israeli forces as evidence of genocidal intent.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has rejected the report, dismissing it as “distorted and false.”
