Elon Musk has regained his position as the world’s richest person, just hours after temporarily losing the title to Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
Ellison briefly became the wealthiest individual following a sharp 43% surge in Oracle’s share price on Tuesday, driven by the company’s release of a stronger-than-expected earnings report.
However, by the close of trading on Wednesday, Musk’s net worth was reported at 384.2 billion U.S. dollars, narrowly surpassing Ellison’s 383.2 billion dollars by one billion.
