Trump Issues Final Warning to Hamas

Published:

U.S. President Donald Trump yesterday issued what he described as a “final warning” to the Hamas movement.

In a post on his Truth Social account, Trump stated that Israel had accepted his conditions, and urged Hamas to do the same. He further warned the group of consequences if it failed to comply.

“This is my final warning. There will be no further warnings beyond this,” Trump wrote.

Following Trump’s remarks, Hamas released a statement confirming that, through mediators, it had received several U.S. proposals regarding a ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The group said discussions were underway to explore ways to expand on those proposals.

Hamas reiterated that it was ready to negotiate the release of all remaining hostages if Israel provided a clear commitment to end the war and fully withdraw its forces from the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Israel’s N12 News reported on Saturday that President Trump had presented Hamas with a new ceasefire proposal.

According to the reported terms, Hamas would release 48 remaining hostages on the first day of the truce in exchange for the release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners held in Israel. The ceasefire would then pave the way for broader negotiations on ending the conflict.
