A shooting was reported this morning (6) at a shop in the Sandagalawatta area of Alubomulla, Panadura, according to police.
Two unidentified individuals carried out the shooting using a 9mm pistol before fleeing the scene.
At the time of the incident, a woman was present inside the shop. Police confirmed that the gunfire struck a refrigerator within the premises, and no injuries were reported.
