Bangkok – Anutin Charnvirakul has been elected today (5) as the new Prime Minister of Thailand following a parliamentary vote.
He succeeds former Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, who was ousted by a parliamentary decision. The election was held to fill the resulting vacancy.
