Acting Minister of Health Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni announced that a disciplinary inquiry is expected to be held against Dr. Rukshan Bellana, Deputy Director of the Colombo National Hospital.
The inquiry is in connection with Dr. Bellana’s disclosure of information to the media regarding the health condition of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe while he was receiving treatment at the hospital.
Dr. Wijemuni made this statement while addressing the media.
