Acting Director of the Colombo National Hospital, Dr. Pradeep Wijesinghe, states that the condition of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has reached a somewhat satisfactory level.
The doctor stated that the specialist doctors in the intensive care unit are closely monitoring the former president and that although he is currently in a satisfactory condition, his condition may change.
Dr. Pradeep Wijesinghe further stated that a decision will be made after the doctors’ discussion this afternoon on whether he will be able to appear before the court tomorrow.
The case involving former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who was remanded following his arrest, is scheduled to be taken up again tomorrow at the Fort Magistrate’s Court.
