Former State Minister Diana Gamage, for whom an arrest warrant had been issued, appeared in court today (25) through her lawyers.
After appearing in court, Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama ordered her release on a surety bond of Rs. 10 million.
Diana Gamage did not appear in court when seven cases filed against her were called up recently on charges including staying in Sri Lanka without a valid visa.
Accordingly, a warrant was issued for her arrest.
