Non-academic employees at all state universities and affiliated institutions have begun a symbolic strike.
Mangala Dabareva, Co-Chairman of the University Trade Union Joint Committee, stated that this strike is being implemented based on several demands, including the problems faced by university employees due to certain proposals in the budget.
He also mentioned that as a result, research activities, lectures, clinics and student studies at universities could all come to a halt.
