The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has confirmed that Sri Lanka’s National Anti-Doping Organization (NADO) is not compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code.
WADA’s Executive Committee (ExCo) approved the recommendation of WADA’s Independent Compliance Review Committee (CRC) at its meeting held on March 27.
Accordingly, it is reported that Sri Lanka NADO has been added to the compliance ‘watch list’.
Sri Lanka NADO has been added to the watch list regarding compliance measures as a result of a review of its legal framework.
With this move, Sri Lanka has now become the fourth country not to comply.
