The new tariffs imposed by the United States on Sri Lanka will come into effect from today (07).
Accordingly, the United States will impose a 20 percent tariff on goods imported from Sri Lanka starting today.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Export Development Board Chairman Mangala Wijesinghe says that discussions are scheduled to further reduce the tariff rate imposed by the United States.
