US President Donald Trump says Israel has agreed to begin a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza.
Posting on social media, he said that he would work with all parties to end the war.
President Donald Trump also called on Hamas militants to agree to a final proposal for a 60-day ceasefire with Israel in the Gaza Strip.
He also said that Qatari and Egyptian mediators would deliver “this final proposal” to Hamas.
Hamas has already said it is willing to release the remaining hostages.
However, Israel had previously said that the war would only end if Hamas was disarmed and disbanded, and Hamas had refused to lay down its arms.
