The Sri Lanka Customs Department’s Customs Media Spokesperson and Additional Director General of Customs Seevali Arukgoda states that the container stock that was stuck at the Colombo Port has been completely cleared as of today (29).
Accordingly, the Customs Spokesperson further stated that cargo clearance activities at the port have returned to normal.
Due to the container congestion that has existed so far, the business community and importers have had to face a variety of problems.
