Former Sri Lankan Airlines Chairman Nishantha Wickramasinghe, the elder brother of Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa, wife of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, has been remanded until July 1st.
He was arrested today (26) by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
The commission stated that this arrest was made in connection with an investigation into the purchase of aircraft.
