The Elections Commission states that the names of 223 members elected to local government bodies have not yet been received.
Its chairman, R.M.A. L. Ratnayake, stated that the respective political parties were once again informed to provide the relevant names immediately.
Meanwhile, he also stated that the names of 107 members received by the Election Commission were sent to the Government Printing Office for printing yesterday.
