Walaskata arrested

Thilina Sampath alias Walaskata, who is said to be the main suspect in the drug trafficking and criminal network of Kehelbaddara Padme, an organized criminal who is currently abroad, has been arrested by the police.

Similarly, Devanmini Dissanayake alias Gampaha Pas Dewa, who is said to be a close aide of Kehelbaddara Padme, was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake on the 3rd. That was when he came to escape to Thailand.

The suspect was later handed over to the Western Province North Crime Division for further investigations.

During his interrogation, the police were able to uncover a lot of other information, and accordingly, the police took action by arresting another suspect in the Seeduwa Police Division.

The person in question was arrested while traveling in a car.

The person arrested was a 36-year-old man known by the alias Thilina Sampath alias Walaskata.

The police said that he has now been identified as the main suspect who ran Kehelbaddara Padme's drug network and criminal network in this country, who is currently abroad.
